VELOCITY LEADERSHIP PROGRAM LAUNCHED NATIONWIDE

The Competitive Edge, Inc. offers comprehensive leadership training

Backed by over a decade of research and development, The Competitive Edge, Inc., a leadership and management consulting firm, is launching a comprehensive leadership development program called Velocity.

“Because the speed and direction of an organization is driven by leadership, we are excited to have developed the comprehensive leadership program, Velocity,” said Vicki Jodsaas, president of The Competitive Edge. “What makes this program especially notable is we are now offering certification for outside consultants to utilize Velocity with their own clients.”

The first Velocity certification program will take place during the month of June in Oregon, with approximately 12 consultants who primarily focus training and development in the manufacturing industry.

The program was designed based on the company’s own experiences as management and leadership consultants, and has been used with all of existing clients over the years.

Velocity is comprehensive, yet includes three options to meet the unique needs of companies. The most strategic approach, Complete Velocity, incorporates competency identification, assessment, development, performance management, hiring and succession planning.

The second option is Velocity Series, for organizations that want to develop the foundational skills of their leaders at each level. The third option, Velocity Picks, is for the client who wants to pick and choose specific training sessions based on existing needs of their organization.
